Garden Tour

Saturday 4th July

The gardens in July are at their most vibrant, filled with bold colour and abundant blooms as flowers reach their peak.

Warm weather and long days encourage rapid growth, while pollinators remain highly active and borders feel lush and full.

Wednesday 8th July

An intimate culinary experience inside the kitchens of Hintlesham Hall. Join Executive Chef Lee Cooper for a relaxed morning exploring the flavours of summer as he prepares a selection of seasonal dishes, sharing techniques and inspiration behind the restaurant's menu. 

Following the demonstration, guests will move into the restaurant to enjoy a three-course lunch featuring the dishes just prepared. 

Limited to 6 guests for an intimate experience.

Nelson Estate Winery Dinner

Thursday 16th July

Join us for an evening celebrating the heritage and character of Nelson Estate, a family-owned vineyard from South Africa’s historic Paarl region. Guests will begin the evening with aperitifs and canapés in the Drawing Room or Library before enjoying a specially created tasting menu paired with wines from this remarkable estate.

With winemaking roots in the region dating back to the arrival of the French Huguenots in the 17th century, Nelson Estate produces expressive wines that reflect both the history of the land and the craftsmanship of winemaker Lisha Nelson. Today the estate continues this long tradition of winemaking on land steeped in heritage.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a selection of wines including Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc, with guided tasting and discussion from representatives of the winery during dinner service.

Guests arrive from 7:00pm for aperitifs and canapés, with dinner beginning at 7:30pm. The experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

Wedding Open Day

Sunday 19th July

Discover Hintlesham Hall at one of our dedicated Wedding Viewing Days. An opportunity to experience the house and gardens in a relaxed and unhurried setting.

From 12–3pm, our experienced Events Team will be available to offer personal tours of the Hall, guide you through the Ceremony Room, Wedding Breakfast and Outdoor Spaces, all set for weddings.

Our Events Team will be happy to answer any questions you have about your wedding at Hintlesham Hall. From menus to seating arrangements, timings to the ceremony, we're an experienced team ready to make your dream day a reality. 

Our wedding viewing days are complimentary, and no pre-registration is required. Please arrive anytime between 12pm - 3pm and view at your leisure.

Barta Winery Dinner

Friday 21st August

Discover the remarkable wines of Barta Winery from Hungary’s historic Tokaj region during this intimate wine dinner experience at Hintlesham Hall. Guests are welcomed with aperitifs and canapés in the Drawing Room or Library before enjoying a specially curated tasting menu paired with wines from this distinctive estate.

Located in the historic village of Mád, Barta Winery is dedicated to preserving one of the world’s most historic vineyard landscapes. Founded by Károly Barta, the winery focuses on careful stewardship of its vineyards and minimal-intervention winemaking to express the purity and character of Tokaj’s exceptional terroir.

The evening will explore a selection of Barta wines centred around the celebrated Furmint grape, showcasing both dry and sweet styles that define this historic wine region. Representatives from the winery will host the evening, guiding guests through the wines and their unique story.

Guests arrive from 7:00pm for aperitifs and canapés, with dinner beginning at 7:30pm. The experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

August is the peak of the summer garden, a vibrant display of colour and fragrance, with sunflowers, gladioli, cosmos and lavender attracting bees and butterflies. The kitchen garden is in full production, supplying herbs, tomatoes, fresh salads, Swiss chard, and a variety of berries.

Burns Night 2027

A celebration of Scotland’s larder, poetry, and winter hospitality. Join us for an elegant Burns Night Supper at Hintlesham Hall, where time-honoured Scottish tradition meets refined country-house dining.

The evening will feature the traditional Address to the Haggis, ceremoniously delivered before the main course, followed by a Toast to the Haggis accompanied by a glass of whisky selected from our Burns Night whisky collection.
