Located in the heart of historic Hintlesham Hall, double-rosette award-winning Carrier’s restaurant is among the best restaurants in Ipswich. Named after the chef Robert Carrier, who opened a hotel and cookery school at Hintlesham Hall, our restaurant continues to build upon its reputation of serving fine food of the highest standard.

Inspired by the surrounding countryside and coastline, our celebrated Head Chef prepares elegant dishes that showcase the flavours of every ingredient.  Our extensive wine list spans the globe, offering a carefully curated collection from England to Australia.

Our ingredients are sourced locally, where possible, and we grow herbs and vegetables here in our kitchen garden.
