In the event of a cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, we shall do our utmost to re sell the room in order to prevent our standard one night’s accommodation charge being incurred.
In order to avoid disappointment, guests are encouraged to make dinner reservations at the time of booking, if not at this time, preferably in advance and reaffirm upon arrival.
Well behaved diners of any age are welcome. We are happy to make special arrangements for children’s meals with advanced notice.
In the evenings with children under the age of 12, we respectfully request table reservations are made at either 6.30pm or 7.00pm. Children may dine in our lounges, from our lounge menu, at any time.
On the understanding that prior arrangements have been made with the hotel at the time of reservation. We welcome well-trained dogs, subject to the availability of certain rooms and owners accept the responsibility of clearing ‘dog mess’. Dogs are not permitted in any public rooms (with the exception of assistance dogs) and must not be left unattended for long periods in guest bedrooms. A charge of £15 per dog per night will be charged.
At Hintlesham Hall Hotel, we do our best to offer services that are flexible and accommodating to our guest’s preferences. We have very few ‘rules’ but we do ask that guests adhere to an appropriate dress code in our dining rooms:
Smart Casual dress is required.
In the evenings it is usual for Gentlemen to wear jackets but it is not compulsory.
In our restaurants we deem; Sportswear, baseball caps, vest tops and trainers to be inappropriate attire. The management reserve the right to determine what is suitable dress for the restaurants.
This is a legal requirement, as part of the Health Act 2006 and covers all guest rooms, public rooms, restaurants and meeting rooms.
Contravention of this ruling in guest bedrooms will levy a £250.00 fine for the deep cleaning of the room.
E cigarettes are also not permitted in public rooms.
