Salon – For large private lunches, conferences and party nights.
An elegant and stately, high-ceilinged hall, featuring a large chandelier, oil paintings, fireplace and grandiose mahogany arch and door at one end of the room. Originally built by an ambitious previous owner to create a space for lavish family parties, this room accommodates a maximum of 100 delegates theatre style, 34 delegates boardroom style, 50 delegates cabaret style or 82 on round tables. The distinctly French-feeling, Georgian style Orangery leading up to the Salon features a piano and can be used for registration, canapés, coffee breaks, a finger buffet lunch, and live music upon arrival. Or, with a number of comfy armchairs, traditional historic features and bookcases, the adjacent Library and Garden Room can also be used for refreshments if preferred. Perfect for conferences, conventions, presentations, speeches, large meetings, lectures, seminars and private lunches, and also great for large-scale evening private dining, company Christmas meals, banquettes, and dinner and dancing.
Carolean – For larger meetings, private lunches, workshops and exhibitions.
A luxurious first-floor room in the south wing of the Hall, dating back to the late 1600s with an impressive original plasterwork ceiling. Traditionally used by previous owners of the Hall as an extravagant drawing room, this room accommodates a maximum of 50 delegates theatre style, 26 delegates boardroom style or 21 delegates cabaret style. It is also a stunning location for a private lunch, fitting 36 guests on round tables or 24 on a large rectangular table. The beautiful Georgian style Long Gallery leading up to the room can be used for registration, canapés, coffee breaks and/or a finger buffet lunch, and it can also be used as an art gallery or exhibition space. The adjacent Braganza Suite can be used for overnight stays if desired, or it can be closed off if preferred. Perfect for meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, training, presentations, art galleries, exhibitions, business reviews, speeches, private parties and private dining.
Parlour – For larger meetings, private lunches and workshops.
A spectacular pine-panelled room on our ground floor, full of character, featuring a traditional fireplace and collection of oil paintings. Designed in the 1700s as a plush dining room to complement the opulent Salon next door, this room accommodates a maximum of 50 delegates theatre style, 24 delegates boardroom style or 28 delegates cabaret style. With a door leading to the tranquil and scenic back garden, guests in the Parlour can enjoy refreshments on the garden terrace in the summer. The lovely Georgian style Orangery adjacent to the room can be used for welcome drinks and registration. Perfect for meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, presentations, speeches, focus groups, and private parties and dining. With its warm and splendid feel, the Parlour also creates the perfect ambience for a Christmas meal or party, with a maximum of 45 guests able to be seated at round tables.
Justice – For meetings and small private lunches.
Our smallest room available for private hire, situated on the ground floor and featuring a beautiful chandelier, fireplace and elegant panelled walls. Overlooking the private and picturesque back garden, this quaint and traditionally decorated dining room dates back to 1448 when the first recorded owner of the Hall used it as a courtroom for local petty crimes. The charming Justice room will accommodate a maximum of 16 delegates theatre-style or 12 delegates boardroom style, and 16 people around a large table for private meals. It is an ideal space for smaller meetings, workshops, training, seminars, focus groups, presentations, sales pitches, small and intimate private parties, and private dining.
Grandiflora – Our brand new purpose built conference room.
Fitted with state of the Art White Board and Internet configured projector, enough connections to run 40 laptops, its own dedicated superfast broadband. With natural daylight and blackout facilities and direct access to the gardens, it is located in a quiet part of the Hotel on the ground floor where you can run you meeting without fear of interruption. Grandiflora can seat 40 delegates Theatre Style, 28 for a Boardroom meeting or 30 Classroom style and Cabaret style. We offer a bespoke service with dedicated conference staff, all our menus are freshly prepared with plenty of healthy options. Grandiflora is available on DDR basis, Half day or full day room hire basis or a 24-hour conference package.
