The whole team here at Hintlesham Hall are extremely excited about the re-opening of our in-house restaurant this Spring, offering local residents and guests one of the best & well-priced places to eat in the Ipswich area. The freshly renovated restaurant named “Carrier’s” pays homage to the whacky & wonderful TV personality Robert Carrier and previous owner of The Hintlesham Hall Estate. To find out more about Robert, please visit our history page dedicated to his life & legacy here.
The re-opening of the restaurant also includes a full restoration of Robert’s old herb garden & vegetable patch, which is now in full swing once more, producing a mass of vegetables for the Kitchen including: Fine Beans, Broad Beans, Peas, Heritage Carrots, Courgettes, Swiss Chard, Radishes, along with a variety of Salads and herbs appearing on our seasonal menus.
The Carrier’s restaurant is now perfectly equipped for any occasion, from memorable family get-togethers right through to chilled Friday night dinners over a well priced bottle of wine, no matter the event we’ve got you covered!
